Hey it’s me M.K. Sorry I haven’t been posting much on Urbanmedia. It’s because I have my own blog now too. I’ll be posting more on Urbanmedia but if you want to see what I’ve been up to check out my other blog https://marvelouslymismatched.wordpress.com/. My user name is Ignite18 although I write as M. I mostly write about anime and fan girl over who my followers (whom I adore) and I think are the hottest anime guys ever. I also write about books and really whatever comes to mind. Check it out if you want I won’t be offended if you don’t.
Hey there, T.M. here. Today I’m going to talk to you guys about my favorite animes, and what I recommend to you. Fellow viewers of UrbanMedia8, prepare yourself for what I’m about to show you…
My favorite ANIME !!!
Number 1 on my list is NARUTO !!!
Now, some people will question me WHY ?! F.Y.I (For your information) My answer to them right now is, because it’s the first anime i’ve EVER watched. It’s actually really cool if you want to watch it click HERE to get to one of the websites to watch Naruto. But if you’re going to watch Naruto on a PC you should click HERE. Either way the first link works for iPhones, iPods and PCs. And you can watch other anime on Naruget because it’s linked with other anime sites. Like FairyTale, Bleach, OnePiece and DragonBall Z and some manga. Which I don’t read… Naruto was created by a man named Masashi Kishimoto, I must thank this awesome man because like I said Naruto is my favorite anime.
Number 2 on my list is DragonBall Z !!!
Some people will still say WHY ?! F.Y.I DragonBall Z is the anime that I am currently watching and it is awesome. Click HERE to watch DragonBall, DragonBall Z and DragonBall GT. The DragonBall shows are amazing and packed with action. If you want something to do or watch during times when your board you should watch some anime. Maybe you should try out the animes that I’m recommending to you. The creator of this anime is Akira Toriyama. I must also thank this man because Dragon Ball is the anime I am currently watching, and it is amazing so far.
Number 3 on my list Attack on Titan !!!
Now some people will be agreeing and disagreeing with me. But Attack on Titan is awesome !! WHY ?! Because Attack on Titan is the second anime I’ve ever watched. even though the second season has not come out yet, there still is a lot of things that happen in season 1. Which consists of 25 full episodes around 20-25 minutes, but still in those few minutes more that at least four hours happens all in a small amount of time. That is why I chose Attack on Titan to be my third favorite anime. The creator of Attack on Titan is Hajime Isayama, like the other animes above I must thank this kind man as well. I can’t wait until he releases the second season.
Number 4 on my list is Black Butler !!!
Now again people will be agreeing and disagreeing, but Black Butler is the anime that I will be watching after the DragonBall episodes are done. Black Butler starts with a boy named Ciel Phantomhive, the first couple of episodes start on his birthday when a fire is destroying his manor, killing both of his parents. Later on Ciel makes a deal with a demon to have revenge, not just any deal. The deal was his very own soul for revenge. And that’s when the adventure begins, I’ve heard a lot about Black Butler since M.K. and V.P. watch or have seen Black Butler. The creator of Black Butler is Yana Toboso, since I haven’t seen Black Butler I can’t really thank him. But M.K. and V.P. have seen Black Butler so I guess they want to thank Mr. Toboso for creating that violent but awesome anime.
Number 5 on my list is Fairy Tale !!!
Now AGAIN some people will question me with this one too. But Fairy Tale is the third anime after Naruto, to be clear Fairy Tale is not a Fairy Tale with Cinderella and Snow White etc. Fairy Tale is something else, the main character is Natsu he has a flying pet cat named Happy. With his best friend (a Cylestial wizard) Lucy they travel the world on missions and to kick butt. Of villains of course, every episode is super action packed. I definetly recommend this anime for you ! Fairy Tale is made by Hiro Mashima, I definitely need to thank this man also. Because Fairy Tale is a very awesome anime, one of my favorites.
My Recommendation to you !!!
My recommendation to you is all the anime that I just talked about because I personally like but here is some more details of the animes. Naruto: It’s action packed it’s amusing to watch, there is so many episodes that you wont have to watch another anime. Until Naruto is done of course ! Also DragonBall because that too is very action packed, also very awesome since the main character Goku uses very awesome moves, like SUPAH SAYAN !! And other cool moves that I cannot tell you because I’m not done watching all the episodes. Also Attack on Titan because it’s super action packed that it dominates this post. That is all I have to say about this anime, you must watch atleast one episode if you do not believe me on this anime. Black Butler too is very amazing, super fun super cool and in one of the episode someone (I’m not going to tell who) killed someone else (who I’m also not going to say who) with silverware. Yes ladies and gentleman I said Silverware as in knives, spoons and forks that’s amazing. Last but certainly not least is Fairy Tale, Fairy Tale is an intense version of vengeance mixed with super cool people with sick moves. Like for example Natsu (The main character) is a dragon. The lungs of a dragon, the strength of a dragon and also the attitude of one. That also I pretty awesome to me ! Sadly and too soon this is the coming of he end of my post, I will post something even better than this one (eventually). But until then, stay tuned and stay awesome !!

When I heard that Lego had released a new Lego Batman Game I freaked out (with happiness, mind you). I had purchased the first two, Lego Batman and Lego Batman 2: DC Superheroes, and I wasn’t going to skip out on this one. I immediately went to my local Toys R Us (not the only place you can buy it) and bought it.
Having no idea what to expect, I was very excited to learn that the story revolved around the seven lantern corps: the red lantern corps, the orange lantern corps, the sinestro corps (yellow lantern corps), the green lantern corps, my favourite, the blue lantern corps, the indigo tribe, and the pink lantern corps.
Now for the game review:
Having played the other two games, this one was both satisfying and not. Here’s three things I like and three things I don’t.
- The characters: I really enjoyed the wide variety of characters you can play with, especially the different powers and abilities they possess. With an arsenal of over 150 characters, Lego is taking sandbox to a whole new level. My favourite characters are the giant minifigs, seeing that they can now fly and do different things.
- The gadget wheel: this basically replaces the character costume switcher pads that you would have to use as Batman or Robin during the story-mode levels to get past obstacles or puzzles. The new gadget is a ring of eight circles that you can select by holding down triangle on PS3/PS4, Y on Xbox 360/Xbox 1 and X on the Nintendo DS systems. The five characters that use the gadget wheel are Batman, Robin, Cyborg, The Joker, and Lex Luthor. Personally, I find this much more convenient than running around the level trying to find the switch pads.
Lantern world freeroam: once you collect enough gold bricks, you can go and explore the seven lantern worlds- one for each lantern colour/emotion. When you enter each world, you are offered a tour from Looney Toons’ own quacking fanatic, Duck Duck, or as Lego likes to call him, the green loontern. The worlds aren’t that big, but they have extravagant detail and fun challenges to get gold bricks or vehicles.
- NO. GOTHAM. FREEROAM.: one of my favourite parts of Lego Batman 2: DC Superheroes was the Gotham freeroam. You were able to fly and walk around Gotham City with any character unlocked or bought by the player. Now, said freeroam is limited to the watchtower (which doesn’t have much to offer) and the lantern worlds (I like them, but they aren’t that big).
- The plot wasn’t centered around Batman: In Lego Batman 1, the plot was all about Batman fighting his comic book personal bad guys. In Lego Batman 2, the plot focused mainly on Batman, with the addition of Superman of course. In Lego Batman 3, Batman get one, maybe two, levels about him then other characters with more storyline them him are introduced.
So, overall the game was amazing- the graphics, storyline, etc. were great. I would definitely recommend it if you’re a fan of Lego (or Batman for that matter). To check out more on the videogame, visit Lego’s official website HERE.
Is it the Kobo Aura? Is it the Kindle Voyage? Is it the Nook Glowlight? Nope, it’s something better: the Kobo Aura H2O.
Hey there, E.A here. This post is for everyone, but especially for all of you e-reader lovers out there (like me) who want to know more about the recent update in Kobo’s e-reader, the new Kobo Aura H2O!
I got said ereader over Christmas break, and I have not been seen without it for a while now. Why? Because now I can truly take my ereader anywhere, worry-free. I love it! ❤
So, here’s a quick overview of the tech stuff:
-extra-large, no-glare 6.8” Carta E Ink touchscreen (that reads like print on paper)
-a built-in light that puts less stress on eyes than a tablet screen, and which lets us readers read comfortably day or night
-a long battery life– up to 2 months with light use and no Wi-Fi. Obviously, the more you use it, the less the battery life. One thing for sure, the battery life is way better than one of a smartphone or tablet.
For more technical information on the Kobo Aura H2O, visit the Kobo website.
So, now for my review.
I’m perfectly satisfied with the Kobo Aura H2O, and it is everything my former Kobo Glo was and some. Software wise, it is mostly the same as the Glo, just a bit faster. And there is no worries about the waterproof factor–I dropped my Kobo in the snow, and after I wiped off the snow, it worked just fine. Not having to worry about getting water on my Kobo feels great! There were so many times in the past where I freaked out because my Kobo almost fell into a pool of water. Now with this Kobo, I can say goodbye to all that.
If you’re thinking to be doing multiple things with your Kobo alongside reading or have things in color, then I would recommend looking into Kobo’s line of tablets, the Kobo Arcs, instead. I wouldn’t know personally how they’re like but I have a couple of friends who are satisfied with theirs. However, if you’re like me and prefer having something made just for reading, that you can literally take anywhere, then the Kobo Aura H2O is for you.
However, if you’re looking to save some money and don’t really care if your ereader is waterproof or not, then I would suggest getting either the Kobo Aura ($149.99) or the Kobo Aura HD ($169.99), since the Kobo Aura H2O is pretty pricey, at $179.99.
They all are pretty similar, except in size, and the waterproof thing with the Kobo Aura H2O.
Final line: I definitely recommend Kobo Aura H2O for readers who want the best possible reading experience, and who are willing to pay more for it. If the price is a bit daunting (which is understandable) and unsuitable for your uses, I recommend getting the Kobo Aura or Aura HD. I believe E.S has a Kobo Aura, and is satisfied with his, so if getting a Kobo Aura would suit you more, than go for it.
Either way, whichever Kobo is good for you, I hope this review has cleared up stuff on the Kobo Aura H2O!
